PeopleKind Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Jodi Cant to its Board of Directors, effective from July 2025.

Ms Cant has a distinguished career of serving the Western Australian community through the various leadership positions she has held across the Western Australian public sector, most recently as Director General of the Department of Finance – a role she has held since 2018. In this capacity, Ms Cant was responsible for guiding the stewardship of the State’s financial, procurement and building management services, overseeing key reforms, and driving transformation to deliver better outcomes for the community.

Previously, Ms Cant served as Chief Executive Officer of Landgate, where she played a pivotal role in positioning the agency as a customer-focused, innovative, and commercially successful statutory authority. Her leadership has been widely recognised for fostering inclusive workplaces, strengthening governance, and embracing new technologies to improve public services.

“I have always had a strong connection with the community service sector and admire the impact organisations make, particularly for the most vulnerable in our community. Joining the Board of PeopleKind Group reflects my passion to serve by being a part of an innovative and impactful organisation. PeopleKind Group’s model is unique in the sector and the opportunities it has are really exciting,” Ms Cant said.

PeopleKind Group Chairperson Ms Evelyn Hogg said Ms Cant’s appointment was a significant milestone for the Group.

“Jodi’s extensive experience in strategic leadership, public administration, transformation and governance will be invaluable as PeopleKind continues to grow and adapt to an increasingly complex human services environment. Her commitment to innovation, integrity and community benefit aligns perfectly with our vision, purpose and values,” Ms Hogg said.

Ms Cant’s appointment follows her decision to step down from her role in the public sector, marking a natural time to transition her skills and passion to the for-purpose sector.

“On behalf of the Board, PeopleKind Group and its organisations, including Nulsen, Outcare, Superyou, Liift, Cahoots, Nesti and Melior, we warmly welcome Jodi and look forward to her contributions as we work to create more inclusive and connected communities,” said Ms Hogg.
