Nulsen Disability Services CEO announcement

As we approach my final day as Nulsen CEO on Friday, 10 April 2026, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your support over the past 27 years. It has been an incredible privilege to work alongside such talented and dedicated colleagues, and I leave knowing the organisation is in very capable hands.
I also want to share details about the interim leadership arrangements while the recruitment process for the next CEO takes place. From Monday, 2 March, Sharleen Chilvers will serve as Acting CEO and Ron Regan as Acting Executive Manager, Support Services. This timing coincides with the start of my four-week annual leave, which has been planned for some time.
Sharleen and Ron bring deep experience and a strong understanding of our organisation and its priorities. Sharleen has over 25 years’ experience in the disability sector and is a colleague I have had the privilege of working alongside for five years at Nulsen. Ron, currently Manager of Internal Audit & Policy at PeopleKind, is well known to many at Nulsen, having collaborated with us on key projects and audits and is highly regarded across the sector, having served as CEO of Mosaic for seven years.
Together, their knowledge, experience, and commitment to our values make them ideally placed to lead alongside the Leadership Team, providing stability for the organisation through this transition.
I am confident that the organisation remains in a strong and stable position. Our strategy is clear, our leadership team is committed, and our focus on delivering for the people and the communities we serve continues unchanged.
Further information regarding the recruitment of a new CEO will be shared by Mark Fitzpatrick, Group CEO of PeopleKind Group, in due course. I look forward to seeing and connecting with you when I’m back for a week in April.
Kind regards,
Caroline Watt
Chief Executive Officer
Nulsen Disability Services
